After studying eight years with the Zen calligrapher Kazuaki Tanahashi, I became curious about exploring the affinities between East Asian calligraphy and graffiti.

This project involves collaboration between myself and nine graffiti artists from seven cities around the US, including Amend One, Desi W.O.M.E, and Denz (Oakland), Apex (San Francisco), Coby Kennedy (New York), Lucha (NY + SF), Meow (Las Vegas), Zen One (Minneapolis), Toons One and Surya (Los Angeles).
